About

Exploring the intersection of engineering and creativity through photography.

I’m a photographer and engineering technician who enjoys capturing details that usually go unnoticed. What began as a technical curiosity has turned into a creative pursuit — exploring how light, texture, and form can tell stories without words.

About Me

I approach photography with the same curiosity I bring to engineering — understanding how things work, how light interacts with form, and how subtle changes in perspective can completely alter what we see. Photography started as a creative outlet, but it’s quickly become a way to merge art and analysis: crafting images that are both thoughtful and technically refined.

My Approach

My style leans toward clean compositions, controlled light, and attention to the overlooked. I often focus on macro photography and low-light scenes to reveal the quiet beauty in everyday objects. Whether photographing natural textures, engineered materials, or fleeting moments of light, I aim to evoke curiosity — the same feeling that drives invention.

Equipment

I primarily shoot with a Canon EOS R8 and a variety of lenses including the Sigma 105mm f/2.8 DG Macro, Canon RF 15-30mm, Canon RF 28-70mm f/2.8, and the AstrHori 2-5x Ultra Macro lenses. For studio and experimental work, I use custom lighting setups and gear I’ve often built or modified myself.

Achievements

I’m still early in my photography journey, but I’ve begun developing personal projects exploring light, texture, and emotion through macro and low-light imagery.
